Have they fixed the availability of mid level cooking recipes that vanished after their vendors were killed in the shattering? There are quite a few fishing/cooking ones that are either unobtainable or now alliance only. :(

Agreed, this is just silly and should be added to 4.1
(no, I cant suggest it because noone important reads EU forum, our blues are only community managers. Which makes me wonder why we still have EU forum on first place ;p )
http://www.wowhead.com/item=18267#comments is the one of the only ways to level cooking 275 - 285 as horde. Now odd thing is, how do you get to 250-275 because http://www.wowhead.com/spell=15933 is only thing that you can use to get to only 250 while alliance gets 250 - 285 called "[Juicy Bear Burger]"
Sure, theres 2 fishing recipes that do the job. But thing is one of them needs fish that can only be caught at night. Nighfin. Both are RANDOM fish that have no pools. So if you dont have good enough fishing, you're screwed.
And this only applies to horde.

Mid-lvl cooking leveling was fixed with the Pilgrim's festival... all your toons can/should be over 300-lvl cooking after Pilgrim's fest.

@Wolf
....so my level 48 Goblin Rogue needs to wait until November in order to level his cooking with any relative ease?
Yeah, that makes sense. >>

Don't forget that you get 1 or 2 skillups per day for doing the Cooking Daily in Org.
I know it's a long row to hoe, but it's better than waiting for the next Pilgrim's Bounty.

@Sean: Yet another inadequate bandaid that doesn't actually address the problem. Telling someone to wait out a month or more of doing cooking dailies in order to progress their profession is ridiculous.
The actual problem here is that several recipes that filled crucial gaps between about 250-300 have literally vanished off the face of Azeroth for Horde players. The Charred Bear Kabobs and Juicy Bear Burgers recipes were only sold at a single vendor, who vanished when that quest hub was destroyed in the Shattering (Bloodvenom Post in Felwood). Those recipes aren't available at all to Horde players anymore unless you can afford to pay exhorbitant AH prices, because the only vendor who sells them in Felwood currently is hostile to Horde players. On the neutral front, several fish recipes also vanished when Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris drowned, which can't possibly be right, because the vendors that sold the Tailoring patterns there still exist, they just were moved to Gadgetzan with their inventories intact.
It's actually a huge problem because if you're Horde, it's next to impossible to level cooking and fishing together anymore by using what you catch, without massive quantities of fish to help offset the RNG of trying to get skillups off green recipes. In order to get to 300, you're forced to get recipes from semi-obscure quests. Again, this couldn't possibly have been intended, given that Blizzard's intent with Cataclysm was to *streamline* the 1-60 leveling process.

What a suprise -rolls eyes-
All we are missing person who claims that HORDE IS HARDCORES IN COOKING they need to do daily for 50 days to make these puny levels and then 3 days dalaran dailies to level.
