WoW Moviewatch: Exodar Disco

Let me tell you a story. The date is Oct. 21, 2010. Draenei enthusiast Mike Sacco, liquor enthusiast Adam Holisky, ImmaTree enthusiast Michael Gray, and Mat McCurley enthusiast Mat McCurley were all busy getting the pre-Blizzcon reader meetup ready to roll at the Anabella hotel. Gray and I began to discuss some of the more ... esoteric WoW machinimas out there. I then proceeded to show Mike Sacco Exodar Disco, because he is a draenei enthusiast and if draenei were real, he'd probably buy one of those Japanese body pillows of one.
But I digress. Exodar Disco is a rerun of Greyfoo's amazingly catchy and fun draenei dance-fest that does a better job with draenei lore than anything in the last four years. This video single-handedly made me appreciate Velen and the draenei race, if only because the visuals were fun and the quality is top-notch Greyfoo polish. Go forth and watch, and remember, many lives were lost to bring you these tab collars.

Nevermind the dance studio. They *should* make Exodar a disco, if its half as awesome as this video.

Wouldn't it be cool for Blizz to bring life back to Exodar and the other cities in the next patches. Heck, just to have portals to and from each city would be cool. Like the one for Exodar and Darnasus (sp).

seconded. I love the Exodar and those girls with the swishy tails :p When I was leveling my mage he stayed there while leveling inscription to 300. most of the trainers/vendors are laid out really well and are quicker to get to than even Ironforge. I suggested yesterday maybe they should implement dailies in each city. Or give you a special faction hearth or spell that teleports you back home.

For everyone who criticizes the Exodar, there is someone else who gets it.
Everything is laid out logically. Vendors are nearby, AH and bank are next to each other. Trainers are in logical places. You need training in Enchanting or Inscription? The Vault of Lights. You need training in Leatherworking or Blacksmithing? The Trader's Tier.
People who say it's confusing don't take the time to learn it. All new cities are confusing until you learn the layout.

@Noyou: +1 for dailies in other capital cities; the redesigned Orgrimmar is cool and all, but my Tauren heart belongs in Thunder Bluff. The portals to all the new zones make it pretty impossible to logically set your hearth anywhere else...

/agree again! Before Cat hit, I use to keep all my toons there for the ease of getting around and crafting items that were needed. With their Hearths set to Dalaran for a quick portal to wherever they needed to go, everything was just a hop skip and a jump away. Not to mention having the city to your self, for the most part.
Sadley, I haven't been back there since Cat hit. Can you even fly there? Proably not, huh?
In any case, it would be cool if the put some life back into the other cites. I was just in IF a few days ago and although there were people there, it still didn't feel as alive as it once was.

IMO, GreyFoo is the best WoW machinima creator around. His stuff is always so much fun to watch and listen to.
This is my favourite of his.
