Breakfast Topic: Who's your new favorite NPC?

Maybe it was helping Tirion in the Plaguelands; maybe it was helping Mankrik find his wife. Everyone had a favorite NPC in the old world long before any of the Cataclysm changes took place. But now that Azeroth has been shattered and reformed, we have seen not only new faces but old favorites in new and strange ways. Questing recently (if you haven't taken the time to, you should!) has been a strange mixture of familiarity combined with entertaining surprises from characters we've never met before.
Our guild has been abuzz with people having long discussions over who is the best, as most of us have been rolling up new low-level alts to poke, prod, and explore, or even just taking our mains out to do more Loremaster achievements. Some people love various quirky characters (or outright hate them), and other people like the more serious lore figures. All in all, we've had a lot to talk about regarding the people in the new Old World.
If you've been out and about doing the new quests, who are your favorite new NPCs? Is it Zen'kiki in Western Plaguelands? Or Lunk from Searing Gorge and his adorable pacifism?

During the Isorath questchain he was really rude to me though! (in a dream sure, but still..)
:'(

Really stupid, too. Can he not see that I'm a melee class and the dragon is all the way over there, turning his girlfriend into a pillar of burning meat? Can he not see that Deathwing is giving me "invalid target" messages? Is he really dumb enough to think that one level 84 is powerful enough to kill the Aspect of Asshattery single-handedly?
In short, Iso'rath needs to make better nightmares. Unless the nightmare is supposed to be "Oh god, Shaman Jesus has brain damage now".

Mr. Bigglesworth.

With the loss of Mr. Bigglesworth in Cataclysm (or rather, lack of trips to see him) I find I fill the gap with the memory of Tony Twotusk.

Harrison Ford!
The quests involving him in Uldum were just fantastic.
See ya round kids.

Of the new NPCs, I just really love Stormcaller Mylra's spunk and no-nonsense demeanor.
Though he wasn't new to Cataclysm specifically, I also must say I adore the cute simple-minded observations from... dangit... I can't remember the name exactly, but it's something like Watcher Towle? The troll on the Org - TB zeppelin... which was a rather new addition to the game all things considered, so I feel okay putting it here.
I also must say I really DIDN'T like what they did with Mangletooth. I did his quests in the Barrens on soooooo many Horde toons, I always felt sorry for him, and I had always kinda hoped that someday we'd be able to free him from that cage and that he'd be an ally, or at the very least disappear to his own content existence that didn't directly cross ours. Such a shame that he's now nothing more than one more forgettable low-level named NPC quest mob kill. :(

I loooooove Stormcaller Mylra. Warlord Zaela is also a favorite. Nice to see the "ugly" (non-elf) female races getting some love.

You want spunk? Try Kristoff Manheim ( http://www.wowhead.com/npc=39640 ) easily the BEST NPC dialog ever. Make sure you read the whole thing and ask him the questions, totally worth reading.

You're not the only Watcher Tolwe fan! My girlfriend adores him, and we're both known to randomly quote him.
Dere be a bug.
cloudhopper013 Jan 29th 2011 2:02PM
Watcher tolwe is by far my favorite NPC. Glad to know we're forming a little fan club.
"Dat cloud look like da warchief"
And you thought watcher had to do with zeppelin security!

The Lashtail Hatchling in north STV. I fed him and he helped me find troll trinklets in the ground. He's done more to help me than most NPC's who tend to lazily stand around in the guest room of ICC until we've beaten the Lich King to near death for them to make their dramatic entrance and save the day.
And that poor Lashtail Hatchling was taken away from me. We had a bond... Why did it have to be him and not one of the other many 'important' NPC figures :'(
Marbles Jan 29th 2011 8:22AM
Probably because you couldn't tell what gender she was :)

@Marbles
I'd try to say something witty to wriggle myself out of this awkward situation without blaming typos, the comment system, the lack of (insert your class) articles focused on (your prefered spec), the choice of video on moviewatch, or some other nonsensical reasoning / excuse.
But there are times where you just need to admit your failings and take the first step to mend a once strong friendship.
I'm sorry Lashtail Hatchling. For everything.

Will the follow up quest show up for me now?
