Breakfast Topic: What caused your first Cataclysm death?

One of the great things about expansions is all the "firsts" we get to experience. For example: my first 310% flight speed, my first time flying in the old world, my first archaeology artifact -- there are so many fantastic things that come with an expansion! However, there are also some rude awakenings. I was surprised when frost came back as a mage leveling spec. I was also taken aback at just how quickly I perished when I tried to take on more than one mob. Let me paint a picture for you.
Here we have this overconfident fire mage coming into Mount Hyjal for the first time. She grabs some quests and heads out to kill some fire elementals. She tags one, and puts Living Bomb up. It proceeds to make a lot of elementals angry with her. She shrugs off the multitude of fiery beings heading her way -- "I'll just AoE them down." That doesn't bode well. Slowly, her life force ebbs away, she gets weaker and weaker, there's a darkness coming over her, and then she's just ... gone.
I stare at my screen. Did that really just happen? Did I seriously just die to my first Cataclysm mob? I quickly look around the room; awww crud, yes, my husband saw that. Well, that's a bit embarrassing! I then take some time to see what the other mages in the area are running as. "Ahem, well I guess I'll go spec frost now ..."
I'm curious where and when the rest of you saw your first Cataclysm demise. Was it due to overconfidence or a wrong spec? Did you make it without dying until your first dungeon?

Ahh my server was a big clusterfu*k kill box in hyjal and vashire, every horde vs every alliance. I died instantly when I got to hyjal, and the guards didn't help much.

Wrong mount. Wasn't paying attention, summoned Attumen the Horseman's mount instead of the Headless Horseman's mount. They look the same at a quick glance, and I fell. 236 stories. To my death.

Baron Geddon on my Death Knight in Beta (I started the fight at low health)
Miscellaneous Vashj'ir mobs (I don't remember which ones) killed my Balance Druid repeatedly until I went to Hyjal instead on Live. It's easy to multi mob pull in Vashj.

My Paladin's first Cataclysm death came in Tol barad - Not the BG. Rode down the WRONG road, and was shown the quick path to the afterlife by some of Hellscream's minions.
Haven't been beaten down that fast since Vanilla.

The first character I leveled in Cata content was my pally (Holy) along with my husband's warrior (Prot). With that in mind, we should be able to survive pretty much anything-we had ICC raid gear, good mana/health pools, etc.
I think one of us died in Hyjal (probably me) to Baron Geddon. We died in Uldum attempting to 2-man the big ass dragon with full health that you can kill later on (when he's got like 30% health) for a quest item, and then we got killed on the beach at Twilight Highlands due to being overrun with Naga.
FWIW, Ret and healing don't mix--I had just swapped over to my ret gear right before that quest, watched us both die, and said "Umm...I'm just gonna go back to Holy now."
On my newer alts, all deaths occur due to fall damage. There's even one spot in Ghostlands were I said "Remember the time I died here?" and then later decided to jump off the side of a building into the water. I didn't jump out far enough and slammed into the rocks below. My husband just /facepalmed and asked me what was so hard about running out the way I went in.

Baron Geddon for me too. I forgot that sometimes one has to stay out of the fire when one is not in a dungeon.

I was a cocky 80 in Vash'jir, I had taken down the opposition 4v1, including a few 85s.
Then, out of nowhere, another three 85s appeared.
I only killed two of them.

Fire Mage here: I got caught in one of those Instant Mob Respawn glitches, ran out of mana and died under a pile of Twilight Cultists on day one. A night elf - I don't remember the class - was standing next to me watching and when I died, he whispered me "Sucks, doesn't it?" It did indeed, sir. It did indeed.

Horde. My server has about a 5-1 ratio, they were camping the boat in VJ.

My first death came at the hands of the Horde in Vashj'ir. After res'ing it was my pleasure to return the favor, and then some. Ah the joys of playing on a PvP server. :)

My first death in Cata wasn't due to doing anything foolish really, but just due to the ungodly respawn rate in the first couple days. I think I made it to the first Firelands quest in Hyjal... Cultists kept respawning the instant they died, so I never could get out of combat and they finally managed to pound me down enough that I had to run...aggroing more on the way...and then I croaked. :P
