same here... with a group of RL friends and we were wondering if there's any special trick or mechanic to this boss. "Well, let's just find out"

Ditto here... Wiped about 5 times on him before we got the mechanic down with the chains and his subsequent AoE. Getting hit for 30k was a big deal back then :)
