expansion day, hyjal so many players killing mobs, so many re-spawns. I was in that first firelands area, I killed one of the fire elementals, another one spawned on top of me, I killed that one... This repeated itself about 20 or so times (tried to shadow-meld after I got all the quest items, it FAILED) before I ran out of mana and perished.
I just ran that place on an alt and it is a lot more fun in relative solitude. I didn't even need to spam tab/moonfire to tag the named mobs ;-)

One reason I'm loving the leveling experience in DCUO is the fact mob tagging is not needed.
You deal any damage to a mob, it counts for your quest.
You deal enough damage, you get your share of the XP and loot.
It has almost all the advantages of automatic grouping with everyone doing the quests, just without messing with pre-existing groups :)
It's extremely nice in quests for killing named mobs. If you are not interested in grouping, just go to it's spawn place and wait. As soon as you see a group attacking it, join the fight, and you also get credit for the kill. AFAIK, WoW is even copying this same scheme for a few daily quests to kill pesky named mobs; a couple of them will grant credit to anyone who was on the mob's aggro table.
