Around Azeroth: Outside looking in
Shirinos of <Tokyo Drift> on Stonespeaker (US-A) writes, "I was in a random PUG, and it was my first time at the Throne of the Tides. We had just cleared the trash and were about to launch an attack on Erunak Stonespeaker. But before I could get into the room, this warlock's pet (which for some reason was on offensive) went and pulled the boss, and the next thing I knew, the gate closed on my face. So I stood there trying to figure out a way to get in there -- including a failed attempt at spawning my treants inside the room -- and watched the whole boss fight as a mere spectator."

I can't help but hear the Moonkin Code song in the background of this screenshot and then picture a black screen that says WTF??!! Lock'd Out
Damn warlocks.

While I'm sure you really meant "Aggressive", in this case "Offensive" works too...

Warlock pets are always offensive.

I've told the story before, but this reminds me of the time I popped Mirror Image in the Four Horsemen room while we were regrouping after a wipe (I wanted to see if they would /dance with me). They made a BEELINE for the bosses, the door slammed down, half the raid is stuck outside, and Vent filled with aggrieved shouting as we got Meteor-ed down.
Our MT managed to get away. I saw him running around in confusion outside the gate, then he pulled a Shade.
Somehow they never held it against me. I guess uniqueness matters in a wipe.

Such a sad screenshot!
I've definitely been there. As ranged DPS, I always try to linger at the back of the pack, and have learned the hard way to not linger *too* far back.

The same thing happened to me during my first time in Throne of the Tidies, though I never did find out who pulled the boss. Definitely makes you feel like an idiot to just stand there behind the gate, hoping an enemy for party member will venture close enough for you help in some way.

This has happened to me twice so far. The first time was in Azjol-Nerub, and it was my first time there because I just hit 80 recently, and didn't level through Dragonblight because I had overleveled in Outland. Well we were on the last boss, Anub'arak, and the tank pulled while I was still outside the ring. I was stuck outside the webbed ring and couldn't help at all. Luckily my group was very nice didn't blame me for it because they knew it was my first time there. The second time this happened to me was in The Halls of Reflection. We wiped and because the tank couldn't hold aggro, but the tank blamed us for it. Well a new tank popped up immediately while I was still flying back. Since it was some of my first few runs to HoR, I hadn't found the exact route back to my corpse yet when the tank arrived. I said to the party, "almost there, sorry, recent 80". Well finally I had flown back. Well right when I zoned in, the tank started the event, shutting me out because of the door. Then after they beat Marwyn, the tank proceeded to kick me because I had apparently done no damage on the boss. I was stunned, seeing as he had locked me out of the instance in the first place. The kick passed, and I was left to queue for it again.

Oh the interesting coincidence of the topic of this title...considering I saw Stone Sour live last night at the iWireless Center in Moline....
Through the Glass was done quite well.

Our tank did that on the last boss :P
Successful attempt too.
