Wow, blizz put some cool assassian's creed parallels in game with Shaw and the assassins. Like when Shaw killed the person who killed his parent when he is a teenager, or grandma Shaw building an organization up from nothing, using thieves to fight criminals, etc.
Pretty cool in my opinion, and rouges in general have parallels as well.

I'm -hoping- you're joking... but in case you're not, Assassin's Creed came out in 2007, and World of Warcraft came out in 2004. The concept of the assassin's (or similar shinobi groups in Japanese culture) fighting the bad guy from the shadows isn't really a new idea at all. It's just a matter of who they're going against that changes.

I see what you are saying, but in no way was I trying to say that assassins originated from assassin's creed. I was merely pointing out that assassins are like rouges and like Shaw. Yes I am very aware that assassins rouges and the like have been around for a very long time. I guess all of their stories are kind of similar.
