Breakfast Topic: Which Cataclysm quest chain has blown your mind?

Cataclysm revamped most of the old world zones in Azeroth, updating them for a post-Arthas world. While waiting for the expansion to officially drop, I began two of the new race/class combos -- an undead hunter and a dwarf shaman. The undead starting zones, starting with Deathknell all the way through the end of Hillsbrad Foothills, completely engaged and delighted me in their use of driving storyline, humor, and curiosity as to just what in the world is up Sylvanas' sleeve? Everyone should create a new undead character and experience these quests. At least go to Hillsbrad Foothills and do the chain that starts with you being a "quest giver."
On my dwarf shaman, things were going along smoothly, pleasantly -- no real outstanding quests, but no real duds either -- and then I got to Menethil Harbor. First off, the sheer devastation in the town itself is pretty eye-opening. Go swimming down around where the town used to be before it got flooded -- it's crazy. Then I talked to a familiar character sitting outside the inn who told a familiar story and had me go on an awfully familiar quest -- First Mate Fitzsimmons, who asks for a beer to embolden him, and then you go kill ghosts at the Cursed Fleet. "Hmm," you think, "wasn't this solved already for the past six years?" Yet you still go and complete the quest, because it's money and experience, and you turn it in expecting the same old, same old.
And then Blizzard throws a total left curve you never saw coming and which I will not spoil for you here, because you must go do the quest right this second if you haven't yet. It will blow your mind.
So which quest chain has astounded you so far?

Most definitely Kingslayer Orkus' chain in Hillsbrad. My eyes were tearing up by the end of it, which was made even more profound by the fact that he's a complete idiot when you first come across him.
Heroes of the Horde!

Alliance Redridge Mountains: Corporal Keenan Quest chain turned out to be the most epic emo storyline I'd ever played. Still got my Bandana and Bravo Company ring : ) BRAVO HOOAH!

@Khristalyn
I completely agree. I was actually kind of shocked at the end of that quest, and I'm still wearing the bandanna, even though it looks kind of stupid on worgen models.
But seriously, that entire quest chain was amazingly awesome from beginning to right up 'till the end. Then, at the end, it surpasses words. I really want to personally thank whoever designed that quest, because they are true geniuses.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! AAAHHHHH! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" (Actual quote)

I'm sure my answer isn't terribly original, but I still have to say it's gotta be the Horde-side main questline for Stonetalon Mountains that encompasses your entire stay in the zone.
I hate to spoil anything, but I have to admit that it really drew me in, I actually cried for that poor druid and his family towards the end, and I finally had to give that blowhard bastard Garrosh credit for being at least OCCASIONALLY insanely cool.

The Day That Deathwing Came. I was in tears laughing when I was done.

And replay fail! I agree with Switeye, Stonetalon was awesome, but mine got posted in the wrong spot.

Zone-wise, I think Stonetalon is one of the best, for both factions. It's awesome to see both sides of the story involved.
Twowolves Feb 4th 2011 8:58AM
I totally agree. Questing through Stonetalon made me wonder if the Horde has gone too far, but then Garrosh shows up and displays a greater understanding of honor than many of us thought he would ever have.

I loved questing throughout Silverpine forest. The assault on Gilneas by Sylvannas and her Forsaken was really well told and had a very satisfying ending that I didn't see coming.

Earlier on in the Silverpine Sylvanas questline when you learn how the Forsaken are "procreating" now.

This

I am totally certain you didnt mean to lead with the picture of Sylvanas up there but that's my favorite chain. The entire Forsaken starting quest lines where you get to ride with the Dark Lady herself.
neogramps Feb 4th 2011 9:22AM
Yeah, riding with Sylvanas and watching her wtfpwn the worgen absent mindedly whilst explaining the lore of the Lich King was fantastic. Almost enough to convert a die-hard ally to horde.
Kay Feb 4th 2011 8:07AM
I'm tempted to go with the Forsaken Silverpine experience, but instead i'll nominate the Hillsbrad quests starting with Welcome to the Machine, and leading to further adventures with our good friends dumass, Johnny Awesome, and of course Kingslayer Orkus.

Don't you mean Jenny Awesome?

http://www.wowhead.com/quest=27779/gnomebliteration must be the best one ever!

Dear Blizzard, MAKE THIS A DAILY!!!!!!
esmerelda1 Feb 4th 2011 9:55AM
I agree! Please make this a daily!!
Wildstaff Feb 4th 2011 10:26AM
the fact that you think gnome genocide is fun and enjoyable proves that you all should be locked in the stockades for all eternity.
Am i the only one who didn't like this quest? to me it was just another excuse to make fun of gnomes and make them seem incompetent instead of trying to make gnomes look and feel as cool as they actually are.
And my favorite questline has to be the Eastern Plaguelands quests. Oh wow they were so enjoyable. I found myself actually caring about the characters.
Groovymarlin Feb 4th 2011 10:31AM
Gnomebliteration is just so stupidly fun. Would be the BEST. DAILY. EVER. Unlike the horrible daily we get with the bombing thing.
