The quest chain beginning in Lor'danel (Darkshore) to rescue The Last Wave of Survivors of Auberdine. My druid went to Auberdine immediately after the cataclysm and did that chain when the devastation was fresh. I was more attached than I knew to the various residents of doomed Auberdine, and this chain definitely made me cry.

The best part is when you find the flightmaster, and the text is something along the lines of "The flightmaster is to powerful for the elementals, something else must have killed him.

I agree that this zone is pretty sad.
