I agree in every conceivable way with KJP RE the Battle of Andorhal and its denouement. Not only is the quest chain itself a wonderful story in miniature of how putting the war "back" in Warcraft has utterly screwed people who deserved better, the end had my death knight alternating between *freaking right out* and contemplating rescue scenarios. Also, it is arguably the point where Sylvanas Windrunner officially strolled across the BIG THICK BLACK MORAL EVENT HORIZON LINE between "coldly rational tactical genius using every trick and stratagem at her disposal to defend her adopted homeland and the people who selected her to rule them" and "Lich Queen In Waiting." *Mind rape is NEVER OKAY, Sylvanas.*The Ancient of Lore quest chain on Mount Hyjal made me cry. The critter rescue quests on Hyjal made me laugh like a hyena -- particularly the bouncing baby bear quest. The perfect palate cleanser in a zone where the drama and urgency is an almost physically palpable hand driving one towards zone completion. Also: Thessalie Crow is the best. druid. EVER.The Horde-side quests in the Southern Barrens are another great example of how there's two sides to every conflict and that the first casualty in war is the truth.
