Therefore, I believe that Azeroth was NOT the only planet made to combat Sargeras - we are simply the last in a long line of failures. By "defeating" Algalon, we passed a test that apparently no other planet has passed before - a good sign for the survival of Azeroth.

Just because other planets were re-originated doesn't mean they were made to fight Sargeras. There are dozens of other reasons why a planet would be re-originated.

Quite right... Interesting, that was quicker than the others. Azeroth is older than you know. I prefer counting from the emergence of one integral anomaly to the emergence of the next, in which case this is the sixth version...
