This is not an acceptable excuse. There should be at least one guy looking at the Holiday event quest text and thinking "Oh hey! Magni and Cairne are dead/unavailable. Somebody should fix that." or "Whoa! This quest directs you to the Park. That's kind of impossible." and then bringing that issue to someone's attention.

I agree with every other poster who has said the standards are slipping and it makes me very sad and frustrated.
