Request it as a community present. It really doesn't take much effort for someone to coordinate pooling the money and getting you there. My birthday present the last 2 years was family chipping in for a plane ticket to visit. Granted, more time and money would be involved for making sure you can safely go to Blizzcon than to visit grandma, but the premise is the same. The best part is you have months to work out the details.
