Everything Ziebart said is true about RIFT seeming similar to WoW. I didn't even have to change tha layout on my n52 because they're so similar. The "soul" mechanic is alao interesting because it's a tree with roots; spend so many points in the "tree" to make your skills better, and you unlock more spells and powers in the "roots".
My problem with its similarities is that it just keeps reminding me I could be playing WoW. Even a pretty compelling story and techno-magic steampunk (my favorite!) is just reminding me I should be leveling my goblin.
But enough qq: which new Cataclysm factions give you a mount for being Exalted with them? I have the gear I need, now I'm wondering which tabard/dailies to rock.

Ramkahen has the camel mounts, and your respective Tol Barad faction has some mounts also, but those require TB commendations to purchase.

Erzfiend is right, but luckily in the upcoming patch it'll be easier to get your Tol Barad mounts. If you've been doing those dailies on multiple characters, you'll be able to transfer your commendations to another character, since they are now BoA. :D If you haven't, it'll be just about two weeks of grinding if you're starting out fresh and catching all 15 Tol Barad dailies.

I just want to clarify that Tol Barad Commendations are NOT going to be BOA next patch (they're a currency, not even an item), but rather the Baradin's Wardens/Hellscream's Reach Commendations (the ones that reward rep) will be BOA. So, it will indeed be easier to hit exalted with BOA rep commendations, you will still have to farm the currency yourself to get the rewards.
