Would point out that Deathwing is just the suped up aspect of earth with a self given title and a bad underbite. Even if he was empowered by an old god as the aspect of death, seeing as that we've beaten two old gods already (I know, I know; mitigating circumstances) its not a stretch to think that we might kill one of their servants.

Ole Yoggy was referred to as 'the god of death' and we had our way with him.

In short: He got his aspect of death title from outdated content.
