Ink traders come to Stormwind, Orgrimmar in patch 4.0.6

BashiokThe ink trader used to be the center of every glyph maker's business. Now that the traders only take the somewhat more expensive Blackfallow Ink, they're mostly used as a way to create more Inferno Ink. I also sometimes use them to trade Blackfallow Ink in for lower-level, common inks when I need them for glyphs, but that's only when my stocks of old-world herbs dry up. So far, actually, it's been only Ethereal Ink from Outland.

They still show up in the auction house from time to time. I've seen one in the last two weeks. At that rate, you should be able to learn all the glyphs before the next expansion hits. Assuming you're diligent in camping the AH and checking all the time, of course. If you actually want to *play* the game, you shouldn't have picked Inscription as a profession to begin with. ;)

It's another example of design continuity being broken. All the way through revamped Vanilla zones, herb spawns are EVERYWHERE. Then, you go through the Dark Portal - much fewer and farther between.
More numerous and more frequent Outland herb spawns, please!

I always went with my mage and sent the inks back to my scribe, it wasn't that much of a deal, but it's a good change. I would've loved it more if the npc was in Undercity and not in Orgrimmar, where my PC explodes :(

What about jewelcrafting @ around 500... you have to do the dalaran jewelcrafting dailies, or spend horrendous amounts of mats to get up to the level where you can start getting cata patterns.
If I'm missing something, please let me know. My jewelcrafter is stuck right now...

Er... I assume you mean 400...
You've got Shadowmight Rings and Stoneguard Bands to get you to 410-420; another option is pick up Ingvar's JC recipe from Utgarde Keep; while you're there get the meta recipe from Ymiron in Pinnacle for the 420-425 bit.
On the other hand, if you're stuck... why not just do the Dal daily? Although you're still going to have to get some mats; figure out which color is the cheapest to purchase, buy a recipe that matches, and burn that color to get to 420.
