Guys, you're missing something here. WoW is/was a clone of EQ when it came out, with some new ideas/improvements. Pretty much what RIFT is right now.

Today EQ is still around, but WoW (an EQ clone) is the most succesfull MMO in history. Why can't RIFT (a WoW clone) be the same?

History tends to repeat itself many times. Give it a few years, and we'll see.
