No word on the patch notes about fixes to Love Is In The Air?
I really hope they are planning on extending the holiday by a few days due to this. I hate the moaners, but to be fair it is a bit poor of them to release a Holiday Event which is part of the Meta, and they didn't think to check it for bugs or change it to work with the world changes from Cataclysm.

Glad to see this with having many 85 alts to run thru the dungeons and raise their gear this patch should help.

Agreed. My MBP is less than a year old and my internet connection is good. Major cities are painful. Even TB is laggy when I zone in.

That's because it's a Mac. Ever heard of a Mac gamer? That's because there are none. PC all the way.
If you didn't figure out this was a joke then please know that I have nothing against macs. They're a respectable machine, but if I had a choice between a Mac and a PC I would pick a PC

It's a valid observation; though most Mac gamers didn't purchase their Apple with gaming in mind. I have a Mac because I perform my job better on a Mac and I don't have any intention of purchasing a Windows rig just for WoW.
Even with the hardware being the same since the Intel transition there are still driver issues to contend with that won't improve given the small population of Mac gamers. It's just that WoW isn't exactly a cutting edge game in terms of graphics so you'd think that the performance delta wouldn't be so large.

instead of nerfing, they should buff the rewards you get, like giving more VP or adding one ilvl 350 epic per dungeon (something between dungeon loot and raid loot) . That would be more encouraging.
But no, they want to make the losers, unskilled, M&S, whatever you want to call it, stop crying and keep playing the game.

Another thing that should be noted in this article: resources available for 4.0.6. Mr. Robot's gear optimizer is the only tool that is ready within 24 hours of the patch... for every single class/spec!!!
Technically it's ready now, but there are 2 things to consider:
1) The armory is down while the patch is being implemented, so you can't import your character. You can still play with a specific class, but not YOUR character.
2) When the armory is back up, it might take a while to for the new/updated items to show up. Tonight we are wiping the cache and forcing the new armory items it. We'll do this every night until all items show up in the armory :)

Anyone Else notice that you cannot queue for Any dungeons at all. I just tried several times trying everything I could to remove anything that could cause problems but I am unable to queue for anything, it tells me one of several things, 1) you have not completed the quest for that dungeon, 2) you have not selected the appropriate slot 3) you do not meet the requirements for the chosen dungeons.
I'm sorry but at lvl 85 and having done the dungeons hundreds times already and the crown daily twice, I think I qualify should I not?

um, wtf with LW mail patterns not have the new socket added? all my other LW patterns have it, just not the agility/mail that i actually use.
i have to call total bullshit here. is this just an oversight or does blizzard really feel it's fair to not add the socket to mail LW gear?
