Wonder if they're currently being overwhelmed with links from WoW Insider?

I couldn't get either of my 85s to load, it would act like it would load, but wouldn't.

@Rich + @KurtisWe have Mr. Robot running on the Cloud with a few servers. We just added another few servers to increase the speed from the traffic spike. It looks like a handful of people timed out, but everyone else was loading, just slower than we'd like.Anyway, the new servers are already up and running. Let us know if it's still slow / still see problems.

Still can't get it to load mine. It sits there and spins for 20-30 seconds then gives me:The armory is currently not available. This either means that blizzard is doing maintenance, or blizzard hates Mr. Robot, or blizzard hates you.http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/gear/usa/sentinels/matosawitko

I don't even get that. All I get is a blank white screen with the Classes on the left. No data pops up. Then again I tried when this article was first posted. I will try again soon to see if the traffic clears up.

Unable to load my toons as well.

Me too. It keeps telling me the armory is unavailable, although I've checked and it's up.

Revulva made a comment, but it's later in this thread, so I'll post an update here too (sorry for the repeat)! We got locked out of the armory! Grr. We only send 2 requests per character (instead of over 50 for every item, gem, etc), AND we throttle the number of requests sent to the armory at a time. Even with those restrictions, we still got banned. Blizzard doesn't tell you where you need to be to be complaint, likely to make sure people don't find loopholes in the system. If a spammer knows they get killed at 1,000 requests per hour, for example, all spammers would throttle to 999. Unfortunately to protect against spammers, we get hurt. I'm trying to reach out to them to whitelist us... if anyone has a contact, reach out to us with a PM on our forums.Last time we had a traffic spike, about a year ago, we were locked out for 24 hours. We hope it's shorter, but at least not longer. I'm very sorry about this... Mr. Robot just wants to be friends... he really doesn't hate you like the message says ;)

Same problem here... but I've always suspected WoW hates me anyway ;-)

A quick update: we got a tip that might get us out of the 'throttle' trouble with the Armory. It might take a few more hours to code, but we hope to have it fixed later today. For up-to-date progress on this, check our forum thread on the issue: http://bit.ly/e0HsGW

Update: Mr. Robot can now load your characters again! He spent the last couple of hours rewriting all of his code to talk to battle.net instead of the old armory. Mr. Robot wanted me to let everyone know he's very sorry, and he is going to stay up all night baking rainbow cupcakes to make up for it.
