The Classifieds: Longevity sets the pace for guild communities

<The Syndicate> has reached its 15th birthday. They're the Guinness World Record holder for oldest continuous guild; they've published the stories of their success and otherwise keep rolling into the future of MMOs. Our hats are off to <The Syndicate> on their years of good times; we hope you have many more ahead of you.
Random Acts of Uberness
It's when another player lights up your night with precise play, a wicked sense of humor or unexpected generosity that your login becomes something to remember. Share your Random Acts of Uberness with theclassifieds@wowinsider.com. Keep things brief (150 words or less, please), and be sure to list everyone's character names and home realms or battlegroup.
HealthyPets of Cenarion Circle (US-A) Collecting non-combat pets can be an expensive prospect -- so when I received a letter in my mailbox in Stormwind containing a gift pet from a complete stranger, I was completely dumbstruck. HealthyPets's auction house offerings are always reasonably priced, which is reason enough to patronize what's obviously a specialty business. And then there's his name -- who wouldn't want a stable full of much-loved pets to all be "healthy"? Sending a "thanks for doing business with me" pet was such a classy move and completely sealed the deal for me. I'm a HealthyPets fan now, signed, sealed and delivered. What an enjoyable way to share a love of pet collecting! -- Pleased Pet Owner, Cenarion Circle (US-A)Employment: Guild recruitment
Looking for more? Send in your guild name, realm, a link to your guild website or armory listing and a sentence or two on your guild's focus (10-man, RP, late-night raiding, whatever) to theclassifieds@wowinsider.com.
25-man raiding <Apples> of Sisters of Elune (US-H) is a 25-man focused progression guild. We raid only three nights a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 CST until 10:00 CST, and Sundays 5:30 to 10:00 CST). We are very well-progressed and hold a majority of server firsts. We're heavily recruiting melee DPS and healing classes of all varieties. See our website for more information.
Adult Casual <Kismet> of Bloodhoof (US-A) is looking for adult casual players who are focused on enjoying the game and the many things it has to offer. From guild achievements to heroics, alt-o-holics and dungeon addicts, we have a little bit of everything in our members and are always looking for a fresh perspective and new possibilities.
Boosting wind <Solar Wind> of Dragonblight (EU-A) is a 25-man raiding guild with a focus on fun but decent at raiding. We have a tight raiding group where everyone knows each other. Our progress at the moment is 12/12 and working on hard modes.
Friendly guild <Triangle Powers> of Arygos (US-A) is a friendly guild accepting players of all specs and roles. We are casual players looking toward progressing through Cataclysm raids. We are currently a Level 6 guild.

Who is ? You never mention where they started / what they play, and WoW definitely has not been around 15 years.

Nevermind, clicked their link, read their story.

A link was provided. Summarizing the entire history of the guild is a rather pointless effort given that it is simply a tip of the hat to them in an introduction to a much larger article, so they linked their website where you can find that information yourself.

There is however a link to their website. They gave a very brief overview without going into to much detail. If your interested their website, though basic, tells a great amount of the guilds history.

They have guilds in multiple games, including WoW, but unified under one larger entity.
