Around Azeroth: A kiss with a fist is better than none
Druid-in-training Thisalee was jealous of the local harpies' ability to run around with about six square inches of clothing on and not get arrested by the guards. So she decided to take a direct approach to the problem via a knife in the back. Soon, this harpy's wings will become part of Thisalee's new pants. (Thanks to Rob for the screenshot.)

"Soon this harpy's wings will become part of Thisalee's new pants."
That's hilarious. And y'know, I wish we could make armor directly out of the parts of things we kill. My hunter would have an outfit made entirely of the final kills from the Outland Nesingwary quests, just because. And my DK would have Fel Reaver armor.
...now that I think about it, lots of people would have Fel Reaver armor.

..Kael'thas armor?
"The bracers were merely a setback!"

Or be able to skin in BGs for resilience Leather. Think: a Tauren covered in gnome skins versus a worgen with a blood elf hat

I let the harpy go. I know she's evil but I think we convinced her to change her ways.
Donhorn Feb 10th 2011 2:37PM
I let her go and she attacked me so I killed her. I gave her one chance to mend her ways. XD

I think I'd rock some garrosh shoulderpads. Say what you want but thosethings are bad to the ass.
Amy Schley Feb 10th 2011 10:48AM
They would look badass, if Garrosh could stand up straight. With his normal Orc posture, they look like overall straps.

That elf is a SPY!

Nevertheless, kudos to whoever does waxing for the harpies, they're quite thorough.

Nice Florence + The Machine reference!
Marcosius Feb 10th 2011 10:40AM
Oh no, this picture is so wrong, it'll teach kids to stab people in the back! Quick, to the moral-mobile!
Cobryn Feb 10th 2011 10:52AM
Oooh, I like the Florence and the Machines title shout out
Dragonrose Feb 10th 2011 11:47AM
All I can think of when I look at that picture is that, all other obvious problems aside, that harpy could never take flight with wings like that! The feathers would have to come down to her butt at the very least!
What's wrong with me?!
shatto.a Feb 10th 2011 11:57AM
You get talky or I'll get stabby.

Gotcha Chicken Lips!

You know, there was a person who showed up at one of the BlizzCons dressed like that. She was given sort of an insult by one of the DirecTV hosts who, when talking with one of their "reporters" or whatever in line, said "he" when referring to her. He didn't know what kind of costume she was wearing.
Here she is.

I am really not sure if that is a "she"
sorry,
Drakkenfyre Feb 10th 2011 12:19PM
Upon looking at a closer picture, I am not sure either.
From a distance it looked like a skinny girl. Hell, I think they talked to her, and it even sounded like a her.
Darkdust Feb 10th 2011 2:13PM
Simple answer: Anyone presenting themselves as a particular gender is referenced as that gender.
Tirrimas Feb 10th 2011 12:03PM
I loved that questline. It showed that not all druids are sweet, faceless Nature-lovers. This one's got the heart of a Rogue and she's not afraid to show it.
