Patch 4.0.6a hotfixes for Friday, Feb. 11, 2011

Blizzard has rolled out another handful of hotfixes. These are in addition to the changes that came about this morning in the small 4.0.6a patch. Not a ton of changes overall, but still important (especially if you're a druid tank).

Blizzard EntertainmentDeath Knights
- Death's Advance may now not allow movement-impairing effects to reduce the death knight below 60/75% of normal movement speed, down from 75/100%.
- Mangle (Bear) and Maul (Bear) damage has been increased by approximately 10%.
- Gouge is now breaking properly from spell and ability damage.
- Players should no longer sometimes gets stuck in the world and unable to login upon completing a rated Battleground.

I'm not even going to ask how people could possibly get stuck in the world after rated BGs. Even though it totally sounds like I just did. I think the answer would make my head explode.

So after weeks of Druids on the official blizzard forums crying about the nerfs, it took ONE DAY of the changes being live for Blizzard to actually realize "maybe we've gone a little too far".
Maybe listening to the community would save them some time...

Well to be honest, I am pretty sure Bashiok or Ghostcrawler found out a Death Knight was able to keep up with a mage for longer than one second. DKs and Mages are like same-poled magnets; You make them touch and BOOM. The world (of Warcraft) ends.

I don;t see what the point of a PTR is anymore.
EVERYONE on the PTR agreed that Death's advance was too much and too good, EVERYONE, yet blizzard still releases it at 100%.
They have no idea wtf they;re doing at all.
75% feels good tho, 100% was way too OTT and it made me feel dirty.
