Your post titles confuse me. When I first read this I assumed it was a post about what gear you need to start raiding. But it's really a post about what gear you will get while you are raiding. Yeah there are a few pieces of gear you can get without raiding but 95% of the gear in this post is attained in raids.

Think of it this way: Eventually the only way to gear for raiding will be from...raiding.
