Why is Vicious Gladiator's Pike worse than Akirus the Worm-Breaker?

Both have the same weapon damage/speed/dps.

Once has resilience and the other has expertise, both useless for a PVE feral as far as I know.

The PVP one has crit, which I know is worse than the Mastery the the worm breaker has.

But the PVP has Agi instead of all that strength, surely it;s miles better?

Expertise is not useless for PvE. It's not got the pull of other stats right now, but up to the dodge cap it has worth.
