Cataclysm hotfixes for Feb. 14

General
- Players who are exalted with 40 factions are again awarded The Exalted title. Note that the associated achievement does not state that this title will be awarded when it's earned. This will be corrected in a future patch. More information can be found here.
- Druids
- Starfall will now hit any target in range which is in combat or not at full health (including the Exposed Head of Magmaw, which was causing issues with Starfall).
- Paladins
- The hotfix to Beacon of Light and Light of Dawn on February 11 did not produce the intended results and has been reverted. Light of Dawn should still trigger Beacon of Light.
- Blackwing Descent
- The Atramedes achievement Silence is Golden was incorrectly failing when any raid member's sound bar went over 30%. The achievement now requires no one's sound bar to go over 50% as advertised.
- Alchemy
- The Mysterious Potion was restoring the wrong amount of mana. It now restores 1 to 15,000 mana, instead of 1 to 30,000.
- Fishing
- The Bone and Jeweled Fishing Pole quest rewards are now item level 15, down from 200.
- Herbalism
- Whiptail was spawning too quickly in Uldum after patch 4.0.6. The spawn time has been reduced.

Yeah? To get a neutral from a positive you need to add a negative.
Positive: Fast spawn time
Neutral: Normal spawn time
Negative: Reduced spawn time.
So fast spawn time + reduced spawn time = normal spawn time.

No, Kurtis is right. A reduced amount of *time* means something happens faster. What they meant to say was that the spawn *rate* had been decreased.

The thing I don't get about the Exalted title is...
They didn't take away the World Explorer title (or whatever it is exactly) when the new Cata zones were added.
And yay at Beacon change! I noticed it last night while healing some Heroics and got confused.

They explained the difference already. Titles like "the Explorer" and the "Loremaster" were granted differently than "the Exalted." People who already had the achievements kept them, even though the achievement criteria were upgraded. The reputation title, on the other hand, was simply migrated to a separate achievement altogether.
So, they could have avoided the problem by having an achievement called, say, "Holy Crap Lots of People Like You" that rewards the title "the Exalted," with the criterion of 40 Exalted reps in Wrath, changed it to 50 in Cata, and we could have avoided this whole mess.

The rate of harvest is still higher than other zones I was able to get 6 stacks in 20 mins so 18 stacks an hr before it was about 2x that.

I'm on a server with a ton of farmers, that's all. As a casual player it's really hard to get any for myself with all of them out there. Oh well.

Whiptail is only available in such a small area compared to all the other herbs, so it's a real dogfight if more than 2 or 3 of you are there at the same time. High spawn rates means every one gets a share, but if you're there by yourself then it is this palooza thing you're talking of. So it got nerfed again to make sure these lucky few will not be so lucky.

The spawn time was also really ridiculously fast. I set my pet on a crocolisk, picked the whiptail plant it was guarding, killed the croc, and picked it again because it had respawned.

They need to up the spawn rate of Twilight Jasmine That is the only herb I have trouble farming I have my guild bank and my personal bank full of everything else.
They also need to fix the Twilight Jasmine that spawn in mid air and phase out when you get close to them.
