I was with you till you said mastery sucks and only "pads" the meters. There are several arguments on haste vs. mastery but mastery increases your throughput without mana cost. On normal mode fights..mastery may not be as big an issue. On hard mode fights with massive aoe group up phases..mastery really shines. With the large health pools, mastery really does a good thing in smoothing out that damage. This is one time (EJ has some good comparisons on Mastery at the moment) I think you are totally wrong. Haste is a good stat and mastery is a good stat and I have went both ways. Mastery is a very good tank healing stat and only suffers that it isn't as useful for renew (only affects the talented initial heal). But I guess instead of "padding" the meters I should just let pally's holy radiance, shaman healing rain, or druid WG fill in .

If you stop reading as soon as you find something you don't agree with I dunno what to tell you. Earlier this expansion, a friend of mine was getting #1 parses, even when he was dying half way through a fight. He wasn't doing what they said he should have been doing on EJ. He tried to make several posts on EJ about it and they kept giving him infractions. Someone got banned just trying to talk to him about it.If you take this game personally enough that you're not willing to listen to alternative views, or even get to the bottom of a paragraph where I tell you how I go back and forth on pure min/maxing, then you're closing yourself off to a lot of possibilities. That's your choice, but you should know my job here is not to validate and make you feel good about the opinions and ideas you've already made up. You've been posting here long enough to know I will not always parrot what they say on EJ. You can't always heal with a spreadsheet.

I don't come to Wow Insider to hear a parrot mimic what EJ says. I love to hear alternate views. EJ is great if you are only doing 25-man hard modes, because that is ALL they are concerned with. I know it may seem strange, but some of us are more concerned with 10-man normal modes, or even just 5-man dungeons.
