for some reason The Instance site is down, or just not working for me.
perhaps they are reworking the website and updating it visually? If I recall it was icecrown before

I'm not sure why you feel an email is in order -- you're on the list. If you update your website between the dates listed in the header, I post you on the list for that week. If there isn't an update posted by midnight EST on Sunday, then you aren't posted on the list for that week, and I check again the following week for an update.
That's really all there is to it! :D

Alright, well I changed my website yesterday by adding news of the crew's illness and welcoming people who should have been coming from your site...again I'm confused.

The weekly podcast roundup posts current episodes of podcasts. That's...pretty much all it's ever been. If you don't have a current episode for the week listed, then you aren't on the list for that week. We just update with the current weekly episodes people put out. You didn't have an episode last week, so you weren't on this week's list.
If you have an episode this week (the 14th through the 20th), and it's been updated on your website, then you'll be on next week's list. We don't post news releases, we just post podcast episodes so people can go listen to them if they choose.

Possible to get Select Start on the list for next week?
We had Brigwyn on this week. We're up to Episode 37, nearing a year and would love to grab a few more fans. We do live shows on Thursdays and Gamer Nights on Saturday!
