WoW Moviewatch: Here Without You

"This is the first machinima video I ever watched," Anne Stickney said about Here Without You, "and it completely made me fall in love with the whole machinima thing." It's easy to see why the video would inspire interest in the medium. Despite being filmed mostly in game with rudimentary graphics, Here Without You is focused on a character and his story. The plot's a bit hackneyed nowadays, but it was original when it was contemporary.

If you're sad, you need to watch Hootie (Ballad of the Strigid Screecher) to cheer yourself up. It's another oldie, a really good one in my humble opinion.

Like Anne Stickney, this was my first WoW machinima..... and just as she did, I fell in love with the concept after seeing this.
The video is dated, certainly, but still resonates very strongly with me to this day.

This still gives me goosebumps.
I don't remember what the first machinima I watched was. But this is the first that ever stood out to me, and years later, it's still the first video I think of when I think of machinima.

Like everyone else, this is one of the first WoW videos I saw. I was already hooked on wow, but it got me watching alot more movies.

Was my first too, as with Anne.
It was how I viewed the Forsaken. Tormented with pain of all that they have lost. It always bothered me when people called them evil. Losing everything, but having the will to go on and fight for your place in the world.
Also, my main is a Forsaken Warrior who looks REALLY similar to the one in the video.
If the appearance tab is ever implemented, I will do my best to copy that look!

Yeah like others this was the first wow video I saw and I never forgot it, such a strong song and the video goes perfect with it, always brings a tear to my eye.

One of the first WoW machinima's I'd seen (I'd seen plenty from SWG thanks to roomies at the time, including several from the creator of the above "A Hero's Love").
I've always loved this one and have it favorited on youtube.

this is off topic, but a WHILE back there was a post about a machinima movie called Unbroken and the link to it from WoW Moviewatch is, well..... broken. Any idea how I can find this movie? It looked like it was going to be absolutely epic but i can not seem to find any info on it anywhere
