I really just can't say enough good things about WoW's music. I think it's one of the main reasons the game remains engaging for me across different zones and alts. I just can't pick a favourite, because it's so immersive that it depends on what character I'm playing. Let me tell you, playing a Dwarf in Ironforge or Loch Modan, with the Ulduar music playing? It's heaven. I'm a Dwarf, and my race is mighty. We endure. I recently rolled a Tauren warrior and I love it to death because of the music in Mulgore and the Barrens. When you play a Tauren in Mulgore you understand the mix of humility, hope, sorrow and reverence for the spiritual that the Tauren have without reading a single line of quest text. Same with Night Elves in their zones. Go to Orgrimmar as an Orc and tell me you don't want to smash something. It's impossible to resist. Anyway, I could go on and on, but I won't. I love it all. Westfall, Howling Fjord, Ulduar, Stormwind, Troll music, Storm Peaks. The composers at Blizzard have done a masterful job and the world is much more believable and exciting because of it.
