Taking a break from the game at the moment (until all of this settles down a bit, for one thing) and I'm just wondering what set the pally in the picture is wearing.

As far as I'm aware, that horrific shade of blue can be attributed to our T11 Normal (ilvl 359) set.

That would be the paladin Tier 11 Gear, sir.(aka the gearset currently available through valor points.)

The heroic t11 definitely looks a helluva lot better, but I never though the normal t11 paladin gear looked that bad. Reminds me if a brighter blue colored version of the death knight middle tier 10, which I liked. T11 death knight gear is also blue, and looks pretty cool too... actually seems like a lot of the normal t11 for all classes is blue, then it becomes red (or red-ish) when you get heroic t11.Maybe it's just that the color blue is very un-paladin like, I'd admit that. There are some sets that are definitely better (mage, warlock, shaman), but there are some that are really much worse (rogue, hunter).

"Not paladin-like"? Maybe not to a blood elf or a dwarf, but mine's a human, and (Stormwind) blue is her favorite color. I'll be looking forward to getting this set for her. Pally sets are hit-and-miss. I loved the white, blue and gold of T9; T10, not so much. And some of the earlier sets are just awful IMO.
