The heroic t11 definitely looks a helluva lot better, but I never though the normal t11 paladin gear looked that bad. Reminds me if a brighter blue colored version of the death knight middle tier 10, which I liked. T11 death knight gear is also blue, and looks pretty cool too... actually seems like a lot of the normal t11 for all classes is blue, then it becomes red (or red-ish) when you get heroic t11.

Maybe it's just that the color blue is very un-paladin like, I'd admit that. There are some sets that are definitely better (mage, warlock, shaman), but there are some that are really much worse (rogue, hunter).
