As of 4.06 Archy does not work and I haven't seen an update on Curse since 2010. If anyone has info on an updated version please share.

From the Curse comment thread:"The original author (and curse project operator) is not available, however it is being maintained by Cidrei of WowInterface.com. Go Here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info19411-Archybugfix.html As of this post, it was updated 2/15/2011 (Yesterday)."Haven't tried it yet, though so if it doesn't work....

I can confirm the "bugfix" update does work. And that the person that is updating it was able to get a beta off the author of the addon that gives Archy a whole new skin, and makes it look A LOT better :)
This is good to know because I was really enjoying that add on and couldn't understand why it was suddenly borked. :) Thanks for this! I wonder why the bug fix isn't just showing up as an update through the client though.

Does the bugfix version still cuase choppy framerates when running certain BC dungeons like sethek halls? Had to disable archy becuase farming for ravenlord mount was terribly annoying.

Ithrandil: Consider getting Addon Control Panel and setting it up with a quest config and a dungeon config. Quest helpers, rare trackers, none of those are needed in dungeons, and you probably don't need recount, etc. while questing.

The author of Archy han't been updating it as he lives in Australia and no one's heard back from him after the latest floods they had. We're scared he's gone missing :(
