I'm sorry but It's just the way I feel. Not everyone wants to play a melee class (or ranged). If Blizzard didn't want a particular class to raid, why did they offer them as playable class? If the fights were designed with full groups of melee in mind, what fun would that be for the people who play ranged (or visa-versa)?
This is what I believe: They are made this way because Blizzard didn't want anyone to feel left out. Blizzard decided way back when to offer these classes and in order to appease the greatest number of players they have to design the raids to accommodate said players.
