I got one of the original wired ones last christmas, and i freaking love it. I have played a range of characters at endgame with it and found it infinitely useful on all of them. I apply alt, ctrl and shift modifiers to extra bars and effectively have 48 abilities at my command. I found hitting buttons 8-12 became more about 'flexxing' my thumb and pressing it with the lower joint. Obviously it all took alot of getting used to, but after a while it becomes easier then using the keypad. Typing out sequences of numbers in and out of WoW become trivial as well, its damn cool to type a phone/card number out in just a couple of seconds.
I was annoyed by having to macro all my spells to mouseover when healing with grid, but meh. Havn't had an issue with it even after over a year of use, and it will be a sad day when this one implodes after spamming 12 frantically (Hammer of Wrath) one to many times. Will definetely replace it with whatever new fangled version they have of it by then in an instant.
In my eyes, this mouse is made of win.
