Phat Loot Phriday: Cerith Spire Staff

"You're an orc," Lolegolas insisted, lowering himself to recline on the lounge chair. "You can't even be a druid, let alone be a moonkin."
Throgg growled. "I want to be a battle chicken! Look at this staff! It's awesome. I don't want it to go to waste. It's got way too much hit and haste for it to be vendor trash."
"Well," Lolegolas commented. "At least it has fins. If you're going to school, you can look the part."

I'm still trying to think of a good enough reason for why orcs can't be druids...
I tried to convince myself it was because they don't have a strong enough tie to the Emerald Dream due to them not being inherantly from Azeroth. But then I realized the orcs have been on Azeroth for more than one generation, thus giving us Azerothian Orcs.
So it's not really working out too well...
Eregos ftw! Feb 18th 2011 5:39PM
It may have something to do with these:
Orcs are pretty much bloodthirsty berserkers
They are part-demon from drinking mannorath's blood

wtb Blood Elf Druids like the WC2 manual says there were :(

I'm pretty sure the next race that will get druids are Belves. Let's see next expac :D

I am pretty sure the WarCraft 2 manual didn't mention Blood Elf Druids since Blood Elves didn't exist in WarCraft 2.

They actually have, except on weapons (explicitly). The reasoning (if I'm remembering correctly) is to give casters the same sort of immediate and recognizeable DPS boost that melee get from a new weapon. It's the equivalent of weapon damage numbers, but for casters.

I have this on my mage. Decent for a fill in PvP weapon until I grind the CPs.

they did indeed. attack power is no more, and spell power is only on weapons.

This staff is the bane of my existence. I'm convinced that when I die and go to hell, I'm going to be tormented for eternity by this staff.
Why? Because it ALWAYS DROPS and I'm trying to get the stuuuupid shoulders from that boss. D:
