It's the tearful farewell. Relationships can bloom, even in the most dire and unnatural of circumstances. I, for one, wish both parties all the best and hope they don't get eaten by a grue or something.

I love the look on the orc's face when the human child hugs him. He's like "Wha-?"

He could just use "For The Horde" as an excuse to visit. However they wouldn't be able to speak with each-other.

Curse you, Ms Aarons, for making a 34 year old man have a case of the leaky tear duct that I can't explain away with either a) allergies, b) alcohol, or c) allergies and alcohol.
Wonderfully evocative as ever, and I hope the story continues well, and without any tragedy...although there is war, and I fear the worst. If you make me read next weeks installment with a pre-prepared excuse for excessive leaky tear ducts I'll...

Here's an awesome idea for the next comic. You know that kid draenei? Give us one on her training to become a shaman. It would be the best follow-up for Safe Passage. It set itself up if you keep an eye on her through the full comic.
