Yeah, kinda unimpressed (compared to his previous work which is amazing)
Split screen male/female humans doing idle animations at the same time doesnt really show what Soosdon is capable of in Machinima

Good machinima lies not in how impressive the technology is; but rather how impressive the story being told BY the technology is.

People often think that story ought to be showcase for technology, but technology ought be showcase for story.

I'm not sure what the hell you're getting at. But I will say that there was no story. Whatever story you saw was unique to your own interpretation of the video. Don't try to make it more complicated than it needs to be.
