We've got a pretty short list of hotfixes for Patch 4.0.6 this morning, courtesy of Community Manager Zarhym. Included are the hunter changes that have been mentioned several times over -- and for the raiders out there, a small adjustment to Throne of the Four Winds:
Zarhym- Classes
- Hunters
- Aimed Shot damage has been decreased to approximately 160% weapon damage (at level 80+), down from 200%.
- Aspect of the Hawk now provides 2000 attack power at level 85.
- Hunters
- Dungeons & Raids
- Throne of the Four Winds
- The Catch Fall aura is now removed whenever a player leaves the dungeon.

Off topic slightly, but the Catch Fall aura does seem to catch your fall, as the name suggests, but isn't so good at putting you back up on the platform. Perhaps they could hotfix that?

Thats one thing from 'Throne of the Four Winds' changed. Now they really need to change hefty amount from Al'akir. Its really buggy and theres really some annoying things happening on the fight that can cause wipes.
For example there is "platforms" on the stage and if you get thrown off and suddenly hit the platforms you die because it wont give you the "spin around in air back to area". Really? Thats hardly part of the mechanic there.
Tank avoiding tordano wall? Yeah np the boss starts to RANDOMLY melee the melee DPS for no reason, he seems to do that randomly sometimes too. No, that was not aggro at all. He just swats one of the melee and you get combat log "Al'akir melee hits you".
Tornado walls hitboxes does not represent the graphics and they can "suck you in" if you are "too close" and generally can suck you in if you have slightly more lag.
I have to say its the most annoying boss in this tier. Bit like malygos of this expansion - do once or twice for progression/achievement and never go back unless you are out of stuff to kill.

Yes. Please. There's so much damned RNG in that entire raid, it's not even funny. At least on Maly, you could fix what was going wrong.

Its so annoying that Kitty charging doesnt work on Al'akir. It loses me tons of DPS as i cant proc Stampede at all during the fight.

I have to say, as annoying as it is to have a lot of tooltips out of sync, I really appreciate the new "constantly hotfix" paradigm. Much better than have things just stay obscenely broken for weeks--or months.

Yeah, my hunter's AotH tooltip said something like 846AP last night, while my friend's hunter said 2600AP. So confused as to how much that aspect is worth.

Hawk is 2000 attack power. There is a talent in the BM tree which gives +10/20/30% attack power to Hawk (2200/2400/2600) which is probably what you are seeing.

Our raids start at 9EST. At 8:50 EST I checked to see if the hunter changes were live yet, they were not. Within an hour, they were. It really would have been nice to have some notice so we could have prepared properly instead of stumbling over ourselves trying to maximize our dps mid-raid.

Never mind, looked at the actual buff and it is showing correctly for AotH, but not for Aimed shot. It actually looks higher than it was last night...
