The WoW Insider Show Episode 182.5: This week in WoW news

This is a special edition, though, one that we put together this morning since patch 4.1 just dropped on the PTR. Eventually, we'd like to see these Friday morning news podcasts be recorded live on uStream or Justin.TV and include some video or still pictures. For right now, this podcast is going to be on the main podcast's stream on iTunes -- although we may separate the two some time in the future. We have a lot of ideas, and we hope you'll enjoy coming along for the ride.
And don't worry about the main podcast -- that will still be brought to you every Tuesday, with regular hosts Mike Sacco, Matt Rossi, and Mat McCurely. The podcast won't be changing a bit; we're just adding something extra for all you that like to take your ears for a spin!

I love this idea for WoW Inisder patch notes.
I hope not too much of this new stuff is from the card game. It seems a little boring to not be able to get them in game unless you pay out the nose for cards.

I also like this idea quite a bit, though I have a suggestion/request. Make a new feed and don't include this show in the numbering for the other. That way, we can extremely easily identify which show we're about to listen to.

Wow, you were quick with this. Leveling hunter pets to max lvl was absolutely horrible, I loathed doing it whenever I tried a new one out, so happy this (might) get changed.

Definitely need a co-host. The back and forth between the hosts is one of the things that makes the normal podcast fun to listen to.
At the start of this one Mat mentioned Adam. I know he's involved with he recording of the normal podcast, but since he was mentioned in this one I thought he would be hosting too. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't.
Mat by himself isn't bad, but it does feel like he's just reading off a piece of paper (patch notes) for the whole thing and it doesn't have much dynamic.

I am always on the edge of my recliner waiting to hear a WoW Insider podcast. This little patch note tidbit was pretty cool. I agree that there should be a least 2 of you guys if possible for a little back and forth but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Thanks again for something new from WoW Insider. Thumbs up!
