Patch 4.1 PTR: Every Man for Himself's new animation
Long gone are the days of the human racial ability Every Man for Himself being a mere swirly sparkle. As of patch 4.1, it is now a swirly sparkle and a Stormwind crest over your head. Huzzah!
All joking aside, I'm a fan. I think faction pride is important and the little touches like these help you identify with your race and faction, even if it's a largely superficial addition. I'd like to see more of it.
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has destroyed Azeroth as we know it; nothing is the same! In WoW Insider's Guide to Cataclysm, you can find out everything you need to know about WoW's third expansion, from leveling up a new goblin or worgen to breaking news and strategies on endgame play.

More blatant proof that Blizzard favors Hor...wait wha?
razion Feb 28th 2011 8:38PM
Actually, the Insignias will be getting a similar treatment. The human racial will look similar if not exactly the same to the Alliance PvP trinket. We can safely guarantee that there will be a Horde equivalent.

I find it funny that "Every Man for Himself" gets a faction insignia. You know, how the name basically implies that you're running away :)
All joking aside, I think this is a nice change. I always thought that something as important as CC-breaking should have a better graphic than swirlys. I mean, CC and CC-breaking are the most important things in PvP, right? Way to show some respect, Blizz!

BAD.
ASS.

Queue Arena whining . . . . . now.

Dang it blizz, as a human rogue this is the second time you have taken swirly ball away from me
Drakkenfyre Feb 28th 2011 8:39PM
Mages also lost their swirly ball years ago.

That's pretty cool. I'll have to use that more often now, though my hunter rarely gets snared.
Now, any chance they could give Blade Flurry an animation that's a wee bit less paladin-esque? ^_^
palooka Feb 28th 2011 8:13PM
im hoping, but they prolly are, that theyre going to change the animation of will of the forsaken also, it would make alot of sense
razion Feb 28th 2011 8:44PM
But Will of the Forsaken is already unique, and can already be identified from other abilities in the game. It doesn't need any more distinction--it already has it!
trefpoid Feb 28th 2011 9:02PM
I hope they don't change it, I love it the way it is D:

While the spell effect is nice, doesn't it state too much of "yeah, I'm Human, I'm the core of the Alliance!"?
Alex Ziebart Feb 28th 2011 8:21PM
There can never be too much of that. ;)

Welcome to World of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. :(
("Hey, we totally want to bring everyone back to the old world. What, you want to hang out in cities besides Stormwind or Orgrimmar? No soup for you!")

You say that like it's a bad thing.
Lordaeron power! Yeah, I said it.

Not to start this again, but while Humans "dominate" the Alliance, the Horde is about all its races, or at least the Kalimdor ones, despite the orcs being the core.
