Harmon Productions has been around for a while; we featured its piece about the fall of Gnomeregan back in 2009 with Plight of the Gnomes. After a lot of hard work and effort to continue improving its skills. Harmon has now released Heavy in Your Arms.
I found this video to be incredibly gorgeous and intriguing. The chosen music speaks to a soulful, rasping theme that complements the tight shots and haunting narrative. While I can see why this might not be everyone's cup of tea, I absolutely loved the final product.

Interesting. I wonder why she thought that killing him was a good idea. Perhaps being undead had warped her a little bit, into thinking that having him around - undead or not - would be worth move than leaving him alive.
Because she loves him and they can't be together while he is alive. That's why she begs Sylvannas to ressurrect him as a Forsaken.
The video is excellent, it's impressive that the author made the WoW models have such good facial expresssions. The grin she does when her husband is brought to undeath is priceless.
There is a flaw tho: Undeads can't enter the Church of Holy Light in Stormwind, they turn to dust.
I think that everything she is doing here is actually malicious. I'm actually glad because that's in keeping with the Forsaken mindset, at least as we've seen it in game.
Making a story about Forsaken being all "smooshy" is cheating. Some people like to imagine them being loving and even having sex but it's pretty ridiculous.
" Twill, never set foot in DeviantART... Among all of the good stuff are snips of the truly horrible. ERP people are imagining it all the time. My soul just threw up a little.
I really like the video. The lore around the forsaken is perhaps my favourite in the warcraft universe. This captures the them that's at the heart of that lore: the main character was abandoned, scourged, freed by sylvanas and in that freedom chose to get revenge. It's the forsaken story in a nutshell, I suppose hell hath no fury like a *forsaken* woman scorned... I imagine she went straight from that final scene to get a zepplin to northrend to go and help the rest of the forsaken take arthas out :P
Yes. I was very curious who this was. It's a haunting and beautiful. The last thing I wanted was to give any money to the Eclipse franchise to get it though. ;)
So, he went to fight for his country AGAINST the scourge. For her, for everyone and because she was sad she killed herself - and it's HIS FAULT? By that reckoning, every soldier serving overseas right now is a horrible betrayer. /eyeroll
Right.
Don't get me wrong - it's exactly how Forsaken tend to "think" but to actually feel empathy for her character is asking a bit much for me.

She goes through all that trouble... then DOESN'T get back together with him!?
This was so good! Great song choice, editing, and a WONDERFUL narrative story. What a twist at the end there! :D

A Florence and the Machine song is so very apt for this kind of machinima.
Very haunting feel to it.
Great stuff.

Florence + The Machine is awesome and everybody should go purchase their music with real money immediately.
This particular song IS from the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack though, so...yeah.
Dreyja Feb 28th 2011 4:11PM
Ewh... so it was written for the movie or was it just grafted in? I'll get her other stuff if so.

WOW! Just wow! I loved this. The video and story meshed so well with the well chosen track. Very dark, emotional, and intriguing. Great work!

Why did she walk away in the end? Didn't she do this to make her husband an undead to live with him? Or did I miss something?
icepyro Feb 28th 2011 3:29PM
He left her to her fate of being alone and killing herself and becoming scourge.
She killed him, made him Forsaken, and left him to his fate of being alone.
Slightly different order, otherwise perfect revenge.
