Why did she walk away in the end? Didn't she do this to make her husband an undead to live with him? Or did I miss something?

He left her to her fate of being alone and killing herself and becoming scourge. She killed him, made him Forsaken, and left him to his fate of being alone.Slightly different order, otherwise perfect revenge.

So, he went to fight for his country AGAINST the scourge. For her, for everyone and because she was sad she killed herself - and it's HIS FAULT? By that reckoning, every soldier serving overseas right now is a horrible betrayer. /eyerollRight.Don't get me wrong - it's exactly how Forsaken tend to "think" but to actually feel empathy for her character is asking a bit much for me.

@Dreyja> as a military wife whose husband is currently overseas - thanks for the eyeroll. The movie is a great story but anyone having sympathy for her here needs a reality check. She's a malicious bitch. Getting drafted and going and doing your duty does not equal abandoning your wife. And killing yourself over it? Much less finding him and killing HIM for it? Oh good lord. /eyerollI am going to go find more stuff by this artist though, the song was amazing...
