"uhweeet! what do i get for being first?"
For being first - Nothing.
For pointing out that you posted first - Downrated.

You win the Look at Me Award. Now go back to sitting on your mount over a Flight Master.

You win the right to go back to school and learn not to sound retarded.

I really hope Blizzard adds something like:
Warlocks
* Soulstones can now properly be used on party and raid members who have already died.
I find it unfair that rebirth and soulstones share the same resurrection category without soulstones currently being usable on dead targets. With Deathknights now getting the ability too, it's time the soulstone change gets fully implemented.
SR Mar 1st 2011 1:37PM
DKs always had Raise Ally. However, they've put a heavy nerf on an already useless ability by making it share the restrictions as the other Combat resurrections.
Essentially, what was useless before is now even more useless. And don't tell me that a ghoul that dies from 4 ticks of passive AOE from bosses and deals roughly 2k DPS in its maximum duration is useful.
Sagretti Mar 1st 2011 1:50PM
As has been pointed out many, many times, Raise Ally is being re-worked to being a normal combat res.
Simpsons Rule Mar 1st 2011 1:52PM
@SR
"Raise Ally has been redesigned to be a battle resurrection, analogous to Rebirth. It is instant cast, but costs 50 Runic Power to use, and has a 10-minute cooldown. It shares the same global battle resurrection cap with Rebirth and Soulstone."
That change is on the latest patch notes, last updated February 28, 7:30 PM PST. The classes that will be capable of providing a resurrection while in combat when 4.1 drops are Druids, Warlocks, and Deathknights. All three share the same cooldown in a fight. As it currently stands, Rebirth and Raise Ally are able to be cast on dead opponents so you never "waste" a combat resurrection. Soulstones need to be planned out ahead of time and are almost insulting in a sense.
"Out of all the healers in the raid, I think you'll be the one to die first."
Soulstones worked fine with their current design when they were meant to be a wipe recovery tool and a somewhat "if your guess is lucky, it's just as good as a Rebirth" aspect. But now that Rebirth, Raise Ally, and Soulstones are meant to perform the same function, they should all have the same basic benefits.

This might sound stupid, but where do I find the latest patch notes for this? I did not find wow insider as having the dk battle rez noted.
Harvoc Mar 1st 2011 2:21PM
@ Necromann
Try MMO-Champion or Wowhead (under the News/Blog).

Omfg seriously? Wait, what? My DK has some benefit to bring to the raid now?!
Oh lawd. Black out my bad comment. I totally didn't know we get an actual bres now.
SR Mar 1st 2011 2:20PM
Oh lawdy, I'm bad. This was in response to a response to my post.

They should name this patch: Ragnaros 2.0; Now Available with Legs.
Twowolves Mar 1st 2011 3:05PM
Why does Rag have legs? What was wrong with the whole set-atop-swirling-fire thing? He's gone from being the Lord of Fire to one of Superman's lesser villains from the 1980s pre-Byrne revamp. Not good.
Chokaa Mar 1st 2011 4:03PM
While i agree that giving him legs looks bizarre, i opens up a lot of possibilitie for foght mechanics. Its be shitty to habe to kite a boss around when his swirly take up 99% of your screen!

It's been a while. I eagerly await the following series:
Patch 4.1: What it means for you and your Shadow Priest
Patch 4.1: What it means for you and your Holy Paladin
Patch 4.1: What it means for you and your Restoration Druid
...
Patch 4.1: What it means for you and your mum

No, hell no.
As much as I appreciate information, that was overload. An article or two for every spec, for every class.
I think everyone was complaining by the end of that.
