Frankly this is a brilliant move that was publicised very poorly. If they had said they were releasing the new 5 mans, new quests, class fixes etc. early in 4.0.9 and then in a couple months putting out 4.1 with the new raid everyone would be excited. Since they are calling the mini-patch 4.1 people are pissed. Blizzard shouldn't let a name lose them money.
Even if they wanted to still call this 4.1 they should have put it out from the very beginning that the raid would not come at the same time as the 5 mans. It doesn't matter so much if you name things poorly if you still manage to communicate clearly in other ways from the very beginning.
As it is people assume this means another four to six months before a new raid based on the past time spans between X.1 and X.2.
Still, I am very glad the next patch will be class balancing, zone fixing and new extra heroic 5 mans and I am looking forward to seeing it go live soon.
