for raiders like myself who have nearly finished with regular mode raiding (10/12), the patch really hasn't got much to offer aside from the novelty of two instances that won't deliver any tangible progression in terms of gear.
so, it looks like those of us that are actually progressing will hit a wall at some point over the next couple weeks where all that's left is to re-hash current raids on their heroic modes which seems alot like how we spent the last 3 months of wotlk.
i appreciate that there are many players who haven't yet made significant progress through BoT, BWD or Tof4W and for them i'm sure this patch will be a nice way to add a few 353 pieces to their ilvl346 and make it a bit easier on them in terms of downing raid bosses.
but for the those that have completed all the quest chains in the new zones, flirted with class/race alt combos, maxed archaeology and their other professions, it feels like the game is kinda petering out. Don't get me wrong; it's still a blast to get together with the 25-30 other guildies to run our 25 man team, but certainly we're already starting to feel as though Cata content is getting just a tad thin.
I am curious tho; is the expectation that Firelands and beyond will require heroic T11 gear to successfully advance? or is it going to be tuned for ilvl 359... If it's the latter, i wonder how many raiding guilds with heroic achievements/gear will wind up just blowing through the next raid release?

I think the first few bosses will probably be tuned for T11 and the rest will be tuned for 11.5 or T12. That's pretty much what they did for Ulduar where there were 2 bosses that dropped hard mode stuff and the rest didn't.

My guild is also 10/12 reg mode but I am happy they are delaying T12
To say we are "done" after finishing reg mode is absurd. 12/12 is when we BEGIN.
Real progression happens in Hard Modes. I would be happy if they delayed T12 another six months. That would be about right to get my guild 13/13
