Breakfast Topic: Is there a class you just can't play?

I have a lot of alts. They aren't all high-level, but over a number of servers, I have at least two of most classes, three warlocks, three priests, and a veritable army of death knights (come on, who didn't go on a massive DK creation spree the minute we were able?), many of which I've actually played for 10 or more levels. I even dragged my rogue -- one of the toughest classes for me to play -- up to level 80 because I was duoing with my girlfriend's paladin. There's one class, however, that I just can't stand playing: the warrior.
I made my first warrior, a human, because I was impressed by warrior tanks and wanted to see what the class was all about. I'm generally better with casters than melee to begin with, but I can handle my druid's feral spec reasonably well, so I figured what the heck. After five levels, I stripped off the warrior's armor, vendored his sword, put him in a tuxedo and made him my bank alt. I know, I know, it was only five levels, but I just couldn't handle it. Warriors and I do not click.
In Cataclysm, the class revamps made me wonder if I should try a warrior again. I deleted my bank alt, remade him as a worgen death knight, and rolled an adorable little goblin warrior in hopes that the starting zone would get me into the class. I have yet to log into that character. I just can't do it.
Is there a class or spec that you just can't handle playing? What is it about the class that gets to you? Have you tried it just once, or many times?

If you want, I suggest that you roll a balance Druid. I hated leveling a Druid as feral multiple times in the past so with the cata talent trees, I went balance and used the LFG tool and quested in the revamped zones. WOW! what a breeze. It was so much fun and the new balance tug-o-war bar between sun and moon eclipses keeps your rotation fresh and fun.
I'm currently lvl 72, 450 herb and 425 script tauren. I never thought I would have this much fun on a Druid.
As to the topic: Can't play a warlock. I find my Mage, Priest and Druid much more fun to play.

Yep, could never get past the whole hybrid casting, meleeing, shifting thing. Maybe I'm playing it wrong but I've never taken one past level 10.

Balance love is my Druid story too. Combined with Troll love.
I tried a couple of times to roll a Tauren druid, but sorry to say, I could never get into it. I love trolls, though, and I like playing casters a lot, so come the Shattering I knew I was going to try a troll boomkin for levelling and see how it went. Sought out the heirlooms in advance and all.
I rolled her the day the Shattering hit. Holy sheet. I barely played anything else for those couple of weeks. Zapping things back and forth was just awesome fun. It was kind of embarrassing being able to two-shot most mobs, and one-shot when the sun and moon aligned just right. :) Some of that was the heirlooms, of course, but either way it is a hugely fun spec to play now while levelling.
By the time Cataclysm launched, she was level 56. I've gone back to her recently, and I'm looking forward to getting her to 85.

I've tried to take a druid through westfall, but in an area where I easily play other classes my druid keeps dying. Give me a warrior any day.

Warlocks. i have at least one of everything (horde and alliance). 2 85 dks, hunter, mage and priest in the 80s. I have tried warlocks several times and i just can't find heart of it. I am working on Druids and rogues now. Shaman and paladins will be next, but dropping totems every fight is a bit annoying.

When I play on my warrior alt, I still press the totem key each fight as reflex.
Shelly Mar 4th 2011 8:20PM
Then don't drop totems every fight. Single fights alone in the world don't worry about totems at all unless you are fighting something that is higher than you.
In instances full set for bosses, and for trash the ones that are most beneficial to YOU.

Priest. Without a doubt.
Æiou Mar 4th 2011 8:57AM
Priest here too. I wanted a Gnome Shadow Priest in the worst way, so I made one. I even blew some JP on BoAs for him too. After Hitting level 25, I realized the Priest isn't for me. I think it mostly has to do with the lack of instant cast spells. My main is a Hunter and my main alt. a Protection Warrior. Both of which have a large selection of Instant abilities.
destinyshand Mar 4th 2011 8:08AM
for some reason i just can't seem to enjoy playing a rogue or a druid of any spec
Swifteye Mar 4th 2011 8:08AM
Shaman.
I tried a few times back in the day, but their gawd-awful low-level totem quests drove me batty. Every other level it was like "Oh hey, why don't you run the full breadth of two different zones multiple times just to follow these breadcrumbs I'm scattering?"... I couldn't stand it.
Are they even doing totem quests anymore? I wouldn't be surprised if they just rolled the totems into the trainers (since that was one of my biggest gripes with Druids too, but they changed it thusly)... still though, the first several impressions were bad, and it just feels like this overall distaste for playing the class will always be there.
MusedMoose Mar 4th 2011 8:13AM
There aren't any more totem quests, and you don't have to have totems in your inventory anymore either. Blizzard took out all the old class quests in favor of the dungeon-running ones at 20 and 50. I'd be sad about it if it wasn't for my shaman's awesome axe. ^_^
Parrin Mar 4th 2011 8:57AM
Shamans are sooooo much better, now. The removal of the totems in your bag, and the totem quests, really made this class much more accessible to all players. Then the addition of the multi-totem abilities (call of the elements, ancestors, and spirits) made it a big win for anyone willing to push it to 30. It's a lot of fun to see a player on the other faction turn and go the other way when you slam 4 totems in the ground at the first sight of them.
Polorise Mar 4th 2011 8:12AM
Druid
have tried 3 or 4 times to start one from scratch ... totally dull, unless you are tanking & even then 3 button spam
Shelly Mar 4th 2011 8:31PM
Come level 36 and swipe I will totally be a four button spammer. Plan on leveling a few other classes through tanking dungeons too, just wanted to try the troll starting area first.
Cyantsunami Mar 4th 2011 8:09AM
Rogues. I've tried on many occasions to play them, but I just can't stand it. Might be cause my default class has always been a warrior, so I am to impatient to sneak around. >_
johnnyg Mar 4th 2011 9:03AM
Mine is rogue too for the same reason. My main is a dk. I hate sneaking up on mobs. Would rather just go in with guns blazin!
Snuzzle Mar 4th 2011 3:28PM
Mine is rogues too, and warlocks. It's even stranger since my main for the last six years has been a feral druid, so it makes even less sense. I'm familiar with the stealth and combo system. I think was does it for me is the lack of healing that rogues have, and the lack of control that warlocks have (my mage is frost).
Had a lot of trouble levelling a priest too, until I got up to about 40 and just coasted on dungeon groups to 80.
Dragoniel Mar 7th 2011 5:52AM
This.
I try to play a rogue from time to time (got one on level 83), but honestly. My main is feral druid. Rogue feels like a cheap copy of a kitty. I know it's supposed to be the other way around, but it isn't. To me.
