Oldboy asked:
Since ZG/ZA will be "heroic-only", is there any word on whether it will be possible to intentionally queue for them more than once in a day? It almost sounds like they'll be on a separate heroic "tier", so it's not clear whether they'll be in the same pool when choosing random.
Queueing restrictions are the same for ZA and ZG as they are for any other heroic dungeon. You can queue for them once a day, or run them multiple times via the random option for Cataclysm heroic tier 2.
Yvl asked:
So, I'm assuming that although the next tier is being delayed, Blizzard would still be ready to release the next tier with patch 4.1. I'm wondering, what does this mean for the devs? Are they gonna take this time to make Tier 12 that much more awesome, get a head start on 4.3 and/or Tier 13, or what?
It's safe to assume that all of the above are happening. Releasing Firelands with 4.2 means that Blizzard doesn't need to rush the raid for 4.1 just to give non-raiders something to do, and it also means that in the event some more work is needed to make the raid better, it has the time to do so. I'm sure planning and art assets for tier 13 are already well under way, too. That's just how these things work.
Split asked:
Can someone on the PTR or who knows for certain elaborate a bit on just how reused this content is? They say new boss mechanics, updated loot, and chance for mounts, but what about the trash pulls and bosses in ZA? Loot is really just the old loot with higher ilvl and epic? Tons of people are complaining about having to redo ZA and ZG, so I want to set the record straight for exactly what aspects of the instances are reused and which are new.
We don't know much about loot, but WoW Insider staffers have run through both dungeons and checked the differences between the new and old versions. Check out the Zul'Gurub writeup here and the Zul'Aman writeup here.
Ice asked:
Since raid content will be pushed to 4.2 will there be any change to make Zul'aman level 20 instance (Sort of part of ghostlands story like DM is with westfall) and Zul'gurub level 30 instance (end of STV quest chain where you get the cliffhanger)? It would also give more variety to 20-30 instances since they are mostly SM to Razorfen that are soo outdated in terms of mechanics its not funny.
Blizzard hasn't indicated that normal modes of these dungeons becoming available, whether low-level or max-level. There will be new level 85 quest lines to lead up to the heroics, though, including one that follows up on your lil' buddy Ohgan'aka.

Dear The Queue,
Has anyone picked up any word on Dreamcloth in the next patch and beyond? Going prices for the belts and pants have dropped dramatically, but this stuff is still expensive and/or time consuming to make. I mean, it's probably a safe assumption that new patterns either from a vendor or as drops will be available (I seem to remember the ToC-era epic tailoring items to be pretty sexy) but I was wondering if anything's been actually confirmed or datamined yet.
Neirin Mar 5th 2011 1:38PM
Don't expect anything in 4.1, ilvls aren't going up. Past that no one can really datamine because there's no data to mine yet, but it would be silly to not expect a new round of craft-able armor during the next tier of raiding. Blizz has been doing it for such a long time that they wouldn't announce anything unless they were NOT going to include more patterns.

An old trial account I don't use anymore is apparently being sold by a hacker, according to a blizzard email I received weeks ago that appears to be legit. The links are to blizzard.com and battle.net although I still chose not to click the links directly. I sent an email to hacks@blizzard.com asking about what action I should take if I don't care about keeping the account but I haven't gotten a response and an identical email to the first one has appeared in my inbox. Not sure what to do, any advice?
Drakkenfyre Mar 5th 2011 2:06PM
Complete and utter scam.
Blizzard doesn't email you about "selling" accounts. They just flat-out ban it if they think something is funny.
The links may have looked legit, but they probably went to something like battlenet-keylogmenow-please-i-want-to-be-compromised.net. (I just made that up, but don't go to it anyway, just in case.)
Kilseker Mar 5th 2011 3:36PM
Ahh thanks. I won't worry about it then. My main account is on a completely separate email account anyway + authenticator which = Pretty safe.

So Firelands is going to come out in 4.2, have they GoH gotten their dailies in 4.1, or is that pushed back too?
Boobah Mar 5th 2011 4:40PM
A) The Hyjal dailies are part of the Firelands patch, so they aren't part of 4.1.
B) While the dailies are in Hyjal, that doesn't mean that they have anything to do with the reputation "Guardians of Hyjal." After all, we're not really guarding Hyjal at this point; we're taking the fight to the Firelands.
Most of the time when there's a new set of dailies with a reputation to grind, they're a new reputation. See Ogri'la, Shatari Skyguard, Shattered Sun Offensive, and the faction-based Argent Tourney reps. Furthermore, if the reputation is associated with a raid, it's probably all new, too; see Scale of Sands, Ashtongue Deathsworn, and Ashen Verdict.
themightysven Mar 5th 2011 5:00PM
while the rep stuff is true, the two zones with giant Raid portals (Hyjal and Vash'jir) are the two zones with factions that have no dailies. As the expansion progresses people will want to gear up their new alts faster. If you add Dailies to a faction that has none people can get the rep rewards faster, and it can sync to the raid in the zone so if there have to be any cosmetic changes for either they do it for both.
thanks for your reply
Skrotus Mar 6th 2011 1:03AM
I'm sort of hoping for a new faction associated with the hyjal dailies, while it's true Guardians of Hyjal has no dailies, it's also the only faction you can get to revered with by doing quests alone.
But yeah whatever they are, we won't see them until 4.2.
yeayuh Mar 5th 2011 2:40PM
A theoretical, longer-term question here... Which Wrath raid do you think will be removed / updated first (in the style of the original Zul'gurub, Naxxramas or Zul'aman)?
Nyold Mar 6th 2011 3:13AM
Ulduar, I think. They've stated that they regretted releasing TOC too early which prematurely ended ulduar. I still go back there with guildies, 6-7 man that place in level 85 blues (yes we're that bad lol). It's still epic.
Gordal Mar 5th 2011 2:47PM
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that Tol Barad Peninsula isn't actually a peninsula at all?
Erik Mar 5th 2011 4:04PM
amen. been trying to figure that out myself since I first arrived.
Dr. Nothing Mar 6th 2011 4:58AM
I hadn't thought about this til now....now it will bug me eternally >.

I have a simple question that I'm sure one of the commenters can answer; do these Tier 2 troll heroics drop justice points at the same rate as the other heroics, with valor points only for the first daily random, or do they offer an increased rate of valor points?
Boobah Mar 5th 2011 4:43PM
At the very least they offer an increased rate of valor points; as it's been described on the PTR, not only do you still have the current daily heroic available, but you also have a tier2 daily heroic available, which is worth 140 valor, for a daily total of 210 VP without stepping foot into a raid.
Pawn Mar 5th 2011 3:09PM
Question for the queue. With 4.1 coming will Valor gear be bought with Justice points? How are valor points going to work with the new patch, Is there going to be a new type of point to get? Should I be stock piling Valor points to get new gear or are they going to transfer into Justice?
Boobah Mar 5th 2011 4:48PM
Everything you've read about valor points changing in 4.1 should be read as saying "when tier 12 raids open." That was the operative assumption.
With tier 12 now revealed to be part of 4.2, that's when all your current valor points are changed into justice, and all valor point items are changed to cost justice.
You cannnot save valor points earned during t11 to buy the new t12 valor gear. At least, not until t13 shows up and knocks the t12 valor gear down to justice points.

Dear the queue and associated pet fanatics,
what will happen to mojo the frog with ZA's return in 4.1? will he still be attainable or should i set in motion a mad dash to get him on all my alts i can before he disappears?
