"One other nice bit of CC that I was surprised you didn't mention is Banish. Totally locks out elementals and demons, and Cataclysm has LOTS of elementals. You're combat locked once you cast it, but you can still run a very long way (far enough to leash) if you need to once the elemental is banished. Better still, you can cast it in the middle of a multi-target pull gone messy and not worry about anyone's AoE damage breaking the effect. Only downside to it is that if it's recast before it expires, it actually breaks."I'm reposting your comment here because it will be unreadable in a few moments due to your claiming of "First, apparently."
This was meant in reply to d'Avitant, who has a good point about Banish.Damn you comment system.

Wow, remind me to never bloody claim first again. Not to sound petulant, but seriously folks, if you're going to down-rank someone, do it for a legit reason.Iirdan, thanks for reposting my (hopefully relevant comment.

Not a problem man, it's a great tip that needs to be heard.

"Do it for a legit reason."After something like 3 or 4 weeks of having posts that said nothing but "First, HAHA" or similar the entirety of the WowInsider Community banded together and began the systematic downvoting of anyone that says it. I'd say it was done in an organized manner, but that wasn't the case. We all just got sick of it and people all hit that arrow making those posts vanish in obscurity.Want a legit reason? Part of that post was utterly worthless. So worthless that it actually damaged the useful part about banish. No one wants to hear about people getting to be first on a column. If more people realize that their posts will be blacker than my heart (as a reference, see my user icon) maybe less people will post it and the meme can die. I doubt it will happen but at least we can hope.Sorry to hijack a good post. I'll be sure my wife reads this along with the article. Her warlock is coming along nicely.
