So wait, is shadowburn worth the talent point for pve destruction?
As far as I see it it currently does mediocre damage, can only be used when an enemy is low health. The shards you get back are somewhat useful if you want to soul burn more but you would have most likely have used it on some trash, where you might as well use drain soul which still puts out a suprizing amount of damage even as destro(of course still not near a normal destro rotation).

The only thing it has that drain soul does not is that you can cast it while moving, which due to the 20% or less health makes for a very small amount of the fight where it can be used and at which point other people will start executing and, if it is still available, bloodlust or equivalent will be used causing the fight to quickly finish

Shadowburn has a higher DPCT than Incinerate. If it's worth the talent is debatable... You'd potentially be missing out on awesome survivability talents for a very small damage increase.
